CERTIFICATES

The issue of certificates includes but is not limited to the following:

Bushfire Risk Assessment Certificate

Councils may require, in addition to and supporting a Bushfire Risk Assessment, a form [certificate] to be completed by a recognised consultant in bushfire risk assessment in accordance with the appropriate section of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

Bushfire Consultants Austral includes this certificate, in accordance with Local Council Requirements, in all bushfire risk assessment reports. 

Complying Development Certificate [CDC]

Referred to as a Bushfire Attack Level Certificate

[BAL Certificate]

For complying development on bushfire prone land a Bushfire Attack Level [BAL] Assessment is required under State Environmental Planning Policy [Exempt and Complying Development Codes] 2008.

Risk assessment are provided in accordance with the simplified procedure described in Clause 2.2 [method 1] of Australian Standard 3959-2009 [Construction of Buildings in Bushfire Prone Areas].

Construction Certificate

Following consent, and prior to construction commencement, a consent authority or Principal Certifying Authority may require information confirming details of a development are in accordance with the requirements of the consent conditions for the proposal. Bushfire Consultants Australia can provide guidance and issue a certificate confirming details submitted are in accordance with the requirements of the Principal Certifying Authority and Consent Authority.

Occupational Certificate

Developments in NSW, upon completion, require an Occupation Certificate prior to occupation.

Following a site inspection, Bushfire Consultants Australia can issue a certificate in accordance with the requirements of the Principal Certifying Authority and Consent Authority.
